Eligibility CriteriaThis award is for a woman-owned business that has significantly contributed to the community.
- Female Ownership: The business must be at least 51% owned by a woman.
- Geographical Location: The nominee must be currently residing in the U.S., with their registered business located in North Carolina (NC) or South Carolina (SC). Self-employed individuals are also eligible, particularly for the "Top Service Provider" category.
- Background: The nominee should be an immigrant from Eastern Europe or the Caucasus region.
- Business Operation: The business or self-employment should have been operational for a certain duration, preferably at least 2 years.
- Community Engagement: Evidence of community projects, support, or engagement initiatives.
- Social Responsibility: Demonstrates a commitment to ethical practices and social responsibility.
- Impact Measurement: Concrete examples of how the business's community involvement has made a positive impact.
- Sustainability: Initiatives that promote sustainability and long-term community benefits.
- Collaboration: Evidence of working with community groups, local government, or non-profits.
